If you split your monks against that build, and you won, the other team didn't do their job well. The mesmer runner is there because he is spike/disable and only needed at the stand when a push is needed. When they saw the split monks, the Mes should have been at flagstand galeing/diverting your monk. Should have been over...

In the flagstand we won because of their lack of defence. We had gretnth and melandrus dervishes, me/mo and monk so we had much bigger offence there. And those 2 monks without any outside support couldn't handle 2 dervishes with mesmer diverting, shameing and burning them all the time. And our LoD runner tried to help that our poor monk everytime their mesmer came to harass with him. And we were leading flagrunning pretty much all the time so their mesmer had to be on move to prevent our moraleboosts.

Well gratz to you for outplaying the other team despite making a tactical blunder. But two monks > 1 monk(or 1 and a half if you count the Monk runner). The team you fought was not playing well if you could split only a monk and win the stand and beat the split. First time their mes hits the stand your monk should have dropped(you infered an extended fight at the flag stand with your "constant eburns from teh mes" statement, which means the other team was not very coordinated). Unless you have the most self-sufficient monks bars around(and even then...) I cannot see splitting a monk against a decent eurosplit as a good move. You are basically playing their game when you do that.

This split is weak vs hex teams with the rit having no hex control and vocal minoroty is sweet for pissing off YAA wars. A SV nec can cause some serious misery to this team as SV gets stronger as soon as the eurosplit start doing any dmg.
That said its very strong against pretty much everything else.
